Hunterdon County prosecutors say Rachel Atkinson will have to serve nearly 23 years before becoming eligible for parole under the sentence imposed Tuesday. She also will have to serve five years of supervised release once she's freed from prison.

The 30-year-old Atkinson had pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter last October, shortly after her murder trial had started. She was charged in the death of 86-year-old Arthur Seiple, whose body was found in his Raritan Township home.

Investigators said Atkinson knew the victim and had briefly lived in his condominium.
