Jeffrey Spicer of West Wildwood was arrested Wednesday by federal agents and charged with receipt of child pornography. He was remanded without bail following an initial court appearance, but a bail hearing was scheduled for Friday.

Spicer faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted. It's not known if he's retained an attorney.

Prosecutors say authorities executed a search warrant at a Cape May home where the 44-year-old Spicer was living at the time. They seized various forms of electronic and digital media from the home including Spicer's cellphone, a thumb drive and a computer hard drive.

Investigators determined that these devices contained multiple images of child pornography.
