When it comes to family fun in New Jersey, the 35th Annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning really is in its own class!

The three-day event in Hunterdon County, at Solberg Airport in Readington is jammed full of entertainment, live music and awesome vendors. But the stars of the annual show really are the hot air balloons themselves.

I decided to chat with some of New Jersey's youngest residents, about what they'd design for themselves with the 'sky as the limit'!  Watch the adorable answers in the video below.

One takeaway for me, we have some adorable and creative little ones here in Jersey! From favorite colors to balloons with some bling, or classics like a puppy or Spiderman, these kiddos were happy to share their design ideas. Maybe some will serve as inspiration for next year's festival.

And, of course when my older daughter saw this roundup, she had to submit an idea of her own, on paper!

There's still time to enjoy the Quick Chek Festival of Ballooning this weekend. It's a real Jersey Bucket List experience, with a chance for family memories you'll be sharing for years to come.

Proud Jersey Girl Erin Vogt’s first reporting gig involved her Fisher Price tape recorder. As a wife and momma of two kiddies, she firmly believes that life’s too short to drink bad coffee.  A fan of the beach, Dave Grohl and karma, in no particular order.
