Want tax relief in NJ? Give the state your blood and organs
We all know it costs an arm and a leg to live here in New Jersey. The politicians at the statehouse want to help.
A couple of new bills proposed in the NJ legislature that would save you some tax money. You'd get a $1,000 tax break for a kidney, lung or bone marrow, and $100 if you donate blood frequently.
One of the people that proposed this is State Sen. Gerald Cardinale (R-Bergen County), who watched a friend linger on dialysis and then pass away without receiving a kidney. I certainly understand the compassion and it's a noble cause to pursue, but THIS is your solution for tax relief in our state?
Now you want my blood or a vital organ? REALLY?!
