UPDATE: Friendly Christmas Lights Competition
If you have been following this "developing story," the Christmas Lights have "come out to play" a little early this year!
For the past few years, my neighbors, "FedEX Pat" and "Cornershow Bob" have been lighting up the night...and its referred to as a "friendly competition."
Because it is!
The displays usually start going up the day after Thanksgiving...as in today! But, this year, Cornershow started more than a week early! FedEX started Wednesday night...
With sunshine, and temperatures in the low 60s this afternoon...
...Cornershow Bob is out "rigging up the lights!" MORE lights!
With a nickname like "FedEX"...
...you have to know that Pat is at work this afternoon, delivering packages...on Black Friday!
He is missing out on light-display-setup weather that can't be beat!
ESPECIALLY when you consider that it is supposed to rain tomorrow...and some on Sunday, as well!
OH NO!
Sunday night is the traditional "UNVEIL" for FedEX Pat...
Happily, as you can see above...all is not lost!
"Cornershow Ginni" and "FedEX Jen" are working hard...and massive credit is due!
Still...
On behalf of the guys, and their "Better Halfs," I'd like to call on Meteorologist Dan Zarrow...maybe Dan convince "Mother Nature" to give Pat and Bob a break.
"No Rain!"
Please.
OK...maybe I'm reaching a bit...
No Bee Suit needed.
Stay tuned!
This just in...at 5:25...(this is an interactive show!)...
There's more to come, all weekend!
So...stay tuned!
