Trump increases lead as Christie plummets

Donald Trump is solidifying his hold on the Republican presidential nomination.

According to the latest CNN poll, Trump now has 24 percent of support from GOP voters. His closest rival, Jeb Bush, sits 11 points behind.

As for Gov. Chris Christie, he has sunk to 11th place with just three percent. More concerning, he is in danger of missing the next debate.

The rise of Carly Fiorina, following her first debate performance, is hurting Christie the most. She has bounced Christie from the top ten with five percent support.

Christie's team, though, is dismissing rumors that he could pull out of the race as soon as next week.
