Trial Slated To Begin In Pa. Crash That Killed Freehold Woman
The vehicular homicide trial is set to begin for a Pennsylvania man accused of causing a crash that killed three people nearly two years ago.
Twenty-seven-year-old Anthony Bruno is scheduled to go on trial Monday in Northampton County Court. Authorities say he was driving drunk and ran a red light, causing the January 2010 crash that left three people dead in Bethlehem Township.
Investigators say Bruno had a blood-alcohol content nearly three times the legal limit for drivers.
Twenty-two-year-old Chad Horne, of Freehold, , 52-year-old Robin Villegas of Staten Island, N.Y., and 43-year-old Terri Buskirk, of Bethlehem, died in the collision.
The Express-Times of Easton reports Bruno's attorney argued that video of Bruno stumbling and vomiting at a bar before the crash should be excluded from the case.
