1950 -  Steveland Morris is born today in Saginaw, Mich.  Better known as Stevie Wonder he signs to Motown records at age 11 and would go on to record major hits such as "I just called to say I love you", "Sir Duke", and "Superstition." If that wasn't enough he would also campaign in the 80's to make Martin Luther King Jr's birthday a national holiday.

1974 - Fifty People are hurt and 43 arrested outside of a Jackson 5 concert at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. when young fans started throwing bottles at each other.

1989 - As hard rock music was at its peak popularity at this time, Bon Jovi quickly goes to No.1 on the US singles chart with "I'll Be There For You", the group's fourth No.1 single.

2002 - Dionne Warwick gets arrested at Miami International Airport for possession of marijuana. Authorities found 11 joints in a lipstick case in her carry on luggage. I thought she was psychic, however I guess she didn't foresee this one.
