The Phillie Phanatic Mascot Sued Again

The Phillie Phanatic, the loveable mascot of the Philadelphia Phillies is in trouble again.

Suzanne Pierce of Abington, is suing the Phillies mascot after the fuzzy green character reportedly picked up a chair she was sitting on and threw her in the pool.

Pierce is claiming that she suffered permanent injuries from the prank.

Jim mentioned a website, lowering the bar.net, which discusses mascot lawsuits. Its seems that the Phanatic is the most sued mascot, primarily because he's been around so long. The fact that he's been around so long may play a part in his zany stunts because he has to keep finding new and inventive ways to top his stunts.
