What do you call a lieutenant governor? I asked Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno this question on air today, and got an interesting answer.

It's a mouthful to say "Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno," so I figured there's got to be something shorter we can use.

"It depends on the day, because there hasn't been a Lt. Gov. before," " said Guadagno. "We literally started from scratch."

According to Guadagno, Governor Christie refers to her as "LG" for speed and simplicity.

However, she says she prefers going by her first name, "because when you put that title on it people get a little nervous, and my job is to reach out to people and make sure people are comfortable coming to me in terms of business."

What do you think of calling the Lt. Gov. by her first name? Tweet me at @nj1015 and @BillSpadea to continue the discussion.
