Here's irony for you. Just Monday Joe and I were talking about OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder), and this morning I saw this on Facebook. It's a quick test that tells you how prone you are to OCD behavior. I took it and got 100%. Yikes!

My theory is everyone has some sort of mild OCD, but not necessarily the kind that ruins and controls your life. For example, Joe says when it comes to that volume bar on the bottom of the screen on every tv set, he always has to set his to an even number. Never an odd number. It makes him uncomfortable. But stranger still is that if he's in a situation where he's at someone's house he doesn't know well and it's not his tv to control, he gets around his OCD if they set it to an odd number by thinking of a pro athlete who had that number. Like if the volume is on 23, he thinks of Michael Jordan. Then he can deal with it.

My wife can never take the first item off a shelf. She always has to reach for the second item just behind it. Her theory is there's somehow something wrong with the first item. I ask her is it because of germs? That so many others have possibly touched it? Or is it that it's probably the oldest one with how stores stock shelves? She's never certain of the exact reason, there's just something wrong with it.

Take this quick test and see how likely you are to have OCD.
