The Assembly yesterday passed a bill that will raise the penalties for such things, more than doubling the current fines and allowing the courts to suspend your driver's license for a third offense.

Earlier this week, I posted about a ticket I received in North Jersey.

It was 1:30am on Sunday morning. While driving home from a friend's house in North Jersey, a cop pulled me over. I knew I was driving the speed limit, and I was stone cold sober, so I was confused as to why this officer felt the need to stop me.

In New Jersey, seemingly multiple times per day, you will be subject to doing five to ten miles under the speed limit until you can find a way to pass them.
