Several People Left Homeless By Riverside House Fire
Roughly a dozen people in Riverside were left homeless by a fast-moving fire that severely
damaged two homes.
No injuries were reported in the three-alarm blaze, which started around 1:15 a.m. Saturday. But authorities in the Burlington County community say the fire is considered "suspicious."
Investigators say the fire apparently began on the second floor of the home and spread to a neighboring duplex. But the cause remained unclear late Saturday morning.
Authorities say both residences had severe fire, smoke and water damage.
Some residents displaced by the fire were temporarily staying with family and friends, while others were being assisted by the American Red Cross.
