Scorsese brings movie with Pacino, De Niro & Pesci to NJ
Though the A-list stars were absent the crew was enough to create a buzz on social media. One local business posting photos, Art Factory Studios in Paterson, bills itself as 'Hollywood East'. The historic building complex is adjacent to NJ's landmark Great Falls (a National Historic Park).
The Irishman cast also includes Harvey Keitel and Union City native Bobby Cannavale. It marks the first time Pacino and Scorsese have worked together. It's also the first film reunion for the director, De Niro & Pesci in over 20 years, since Casino. The film is slated for release on Netflix in 2019.
