Pot Politics Tops Tonight’s “Late Show” Fodder!

Here’s how stupid some people are….a recent poll suggests that
respondents favor lessening the penalities for possession of pot; but not legalizing it entirely.

OK, so this is the way my addled mind works…if you buy fugazy pot, say a dime bag, and you can’t get pinched for it…then doesn’t that money that you’re paying go to some Mexican drug lord instead of it being completely legal, being taxed; and the money kept here in this country? What say you….inquiring minds want to know!

We have to talk about whether or not you feel DYFS is partly to blame for the death of little Tierra Morgan. Seems to be some feeling that the agency let the family down.
The only one who commited the crime, allegedly was the father, and we all know what should happen to him!

Officials in West Deptford Township, are saying that a swingers party to be held at a strip club may be too racy! (Hmmmm, ya think?)

Have you ever visited a swingers club…or would you? I remember we had a story on a while ago when I was doing a solo soiree about a club in Rahway that officials wanted to close down, and people who frequented the club said that the clientele were pretty ordinary people just looking to have a “good time”.

OK, I’ll buy that…but I still don’t think you’ll find me at one anytime soon!

As you can tell, I totally love this story. It’s such a morality play, and we can learn so much from it as to where our priorities lie.

It’s hot potato time in Wayne. This time a Judge could make a decision on whether or not the Wayne Hills 9 should or shouldn’t play football this weekend in a playoff game….but will instead defer to the education commissioner on that one. Meanwhile the parents of the suspended kids are still threatening to sue saying that their kids’ constitutional rights are being violated!

Sheesh!

Now that there are cameras on the Parkway to catch toll cheats, some drivers complain of bogus violation notices, and say they have little recourse. I want to know if you’ve ever gotten a bogus ticket and still had to pay it. Chances are, just like red light cameras, you’ve given up and just decided to pay the toll, the fine…what have you!

Do you have one of those “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” scenarios in your family, and how does that go over with “Grammie Hall”. (“Annie Hall”, for those of you not up on your Woody Allen movies!)

Turns out there’s a church somewhere in the South that takes a stand and has voted not to accept interracial couples as members or let them take part in some worship activities.

And our new weekly “capa freschia” award goes to Senator Ray Lesniak…proposing a bill to track tigers!
