Authorities say 39-year-old Norwood Hill of New Providence was wanted over the weekend on charges of simple assault and making terroristic threats stemming from a domestic violence complaint.

NJ.com reports acting Union County Prosecutor Grace Park says Hill barricaded himself in his common law wife's apartment after an argument on Friday. She fled and a neighbor called police.

The Union County Emergency Response SWAT Team and Springfield police took Hill into custody.
