HAMILTON (Mercer) -- An overturned dump truck has slowed the morning commute in Mercer County.

All lanes were closed on Route 195 westbound in Hamilton Township between Exit No. 3 for Hamilton Square and Exit No. 2 for Arena Drive, creating a multi-mile delay that stretched back to Monmouth County. Only the right shoulder was squeezing by through the crash area. Delays also developed exiting from the New Jersey Turnpike.

State Police spokesman Trooper Lawrence Peele said there was a delay in cleaning up the load of dirt that spilled onto the road after diesel fuel was found. All lanes were reopened by 11 a.m. on Tuesday. A long eastbound rubbernecking delay also developed during the cleanup.

Andrew Archer, 31, of Burlington was the driver of the truck registered to MSN Trucking of Burlington, according to Peele, who said no charges have yet been filed. Peele said there is no indication any other vehicle was struck by the truck

A picture of the truck shows the guardrail crushed by the overturn.
