NJ Transit Train Hits Police Car

A New Jersey Transit train hit a police car, injuring a police officer.
NJ Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. Bridgewater police were in the area investigating reports of trespasser along the tracks when the accident occurred Thursday.
Durso says the officer was taken to a hospital, but the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Raritan Valley Line service had been temporarily suspended between Bridgewater and Raritan while the investigation continues but has been restored.
The officer's name has not been released.
