NJ Insurance Salesman Accused of Bilking Clients Out of $300K
Authorities have arrested a New Jersey man for the third time in four weeks on charges of bilking investors of more than $300,000.
Jordan Zemlock also is accused of trying to bilk another client of $129,000.
Zemlock is an insurance salesman who owns Jay-Zee Financial Group. He's also licensed to conduct business in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota and South Dakota.
Prosecutors in New Jersey say the 50-year-old Marlboro resident mostly targeted senior citizens and used their money for personal needs.
Zemlock is held in the Middlesex County Jail on $500,000 bail, charged with theft by deception and other charges. It's not known whether he has a lawyer.
