Should the U.S. keep letting in Syrian refugees in light of the horrific attacks in Paris?

NJ1015's Bill Spadea and TV talk show host, Montel Williams had an online war of words Monday on the topic — each taking the other to task on Twitter.

Williams and Spadea do have common ground in that both of them are former Marines. But when it comes to allowing Syrian refugees across the U.S. borders, the two are at very opposite ends of the spectrum.

Currently, the United States allows up to 70,000 refugees into the country — the Obama administration is planning to up that by 10,000, with most new Slots for Syrians, despite intense pushback Monday from Republicans.

Williams believes that closing the borders to Syrian refugees would be a move based out of fear. Spadea says it's one of necessity.
