Jersey Shore Shark Feeding Frenzy Caught on Tape
Watch dramatic footage shot Thursday of sharks spotted as close as 50 yards from the beach at Island Beach State Park.
According to YouTuber surfishingvideos:
These sharks were aggressively feeding on menhaden (moss bunker). The frenzy came within 50 yards of the shoreline. It appears that the sharks were brown sharks and sandbar tigers, which are not maneaters. This rare feeding frenzy started about a mile offshore and moved into the surf zone in a matter of minutes.
