Remember last winter, when the snow was piling up wind-chills were dropping down into the single digits and you were freezing? Most Garden state residents were dreaming of hot, sunny weather, but now that we're in the middle of a heatwave, with hot, sunny weather predicted for the next several days, are you dreaming of cold, snowy conditions?

For the vast majority of New Jerseyans, the answer apparently is no.

"I like the summer, I'm a summer girl or fall girl but you can keep the snow," said one Mercer County shopper.

Another shopper nearby said "I love the hot weather, I'll take it, you'll never hear me wish for cold weather, I actually hate winter, I do not like it, I hate it."

Sam from Trenton said he preferred it to be a bit cooler.

"I can only hope we reduce our carbon footprint to make sure we reduce these types of steamy, hot days," he said.

Another shopper said "I can't say I'm actually looking forward to winter, but I'm not thrilled with the present conditions, it's just too hot."

Some other shoppers were non-committal.

"I'm just living in the moment and enjoying what we have," said one young woman, and her friend chimed in. "I like all seasons, that's why I live in New Jersey, so I'll take the heat with the snow."

Sarah from Hamilton said, "I prefer the heat, I like the beach, cold, snow, digging my car out, no thanks."

A few people did say they were actually looking forward to below freezing temps.

"I love winter, yeah, it's crisp," said one shopper. "It's a great season...the cold weather couldn't come any sooner."

Grace from Ewing said "I love winter, we love the snow, drinking hot cocoa."
