Have You Noticed?…

Have you noticed that most big news stories in the world – no matter where they happen – always seem to have some kind of a Jersey connection?

Sometimes they’re horrible, violent stories, sometimes they’re wonderful heartwarming tales, and sometimes they’re just plain bizarre, but I’ve noticed there is usually some tie-in to the Garden state.

It also seems that no matter where I go when traveling out of state, I always run into a guy who’s from Jersey, or just moved from the Garden State, or was born there – or in a bar, it turns out the lady sitting next to me lived in the next town over from me for 25 years, before she decided to move to California, or Arizona, or New Mexico.

Not too long ago there was a story about a man who went into his bathroom in Florida one morning, and there was 14 foot alligator sitting on the floor.

“I never saw anything like this in Jersey” he was quoted as saying.

Perhaps in the New Year I’ll figure out what’s going on here. If you have any inside information, by all means, let me know…
