General Motors is telling owners of several 2016 vehicles that if they use their windshield wipers, the wiper motors could catch fire.

The company is recalling nearly 2,000 Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia SUVs. Only 6,400 were sold; the rest remain at dealerships and will be hld there.

The company says it will also pick up vehicles for service for drivers who can't get to dealers in difficult weather, and will arrange rental cars if necessary.

According to the company, no fires have happened outside of the plant.

GM provides more information on recalls, including a tool for checking whether a given vehicle is subject to any, at its website.
