Former Vice Principal Sentenced for Child Porn

A former high school administrator has been sentenced to more than three years for possessing child pornography.

Nicholas Sysock appeared in federal court in Trenton on Thursday and was sentenced to 37 months in prison plus five years of supervised release with monitored computer use.

The 54-year-old was vice principal of Carteret High School at the time of his arrest last fall. The U.S. attorney's office says a search of Sysock's residence then revealed numerous DVDs containing images of child pornography purchased from a company in Canada between 2008 and 2011.
