Funeral services will be held Monday for a Marine from Bergen County who was killed in combat operations in Afghanistan.

The service for 20-old Lance Cpl. Osbrany Montes De Oca is due to start at 10 a.m. in Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, located in the Montes De Oca's hometown of North Arlington.

Governor Christie issued an executive order last week ordering flags be flown at half-staff on Tuesday in De Oca's honor at all state offices, agencies & facilities.  Monday is a state holiday.

He was killed Feb. 10 in the Helmand province, just ten days after having been promoted. Family members say Montes De Oca had joined the Marine Corps with his twin brother Osmany in December 2010.

Montes De Oca was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force that was based at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
