When seven Scarlet Knights are involved in separate scandals in under a year, you have to wonder if Rutgers is a safe place.

In light of violent and illegal acts related to the state university's football players, we're asking whether you feel like Rutgers is a safe place.

Katie, a 25-year-old originally from Maine, said her friend was attracted to Rutgers' medical program, but decided not to enroll because she was afraid of the environment surrounding campus.

Steven from Jersey City said he has three kids at Rutgers, but he doesn't worry about their safety. Rather, he thinks the football team needs babysitters.

If you go to Rutgers, do you feel safe there? If you have a child who attends, or know someone does, do you worry about their safety? Tell us how you feel in the poll and comments section below.
