Craig Allen’s Snowman
I haven't made a snowman since I was a kid...
As a matter of fact, I was saying (off-air) to Meterologist Dan Zarrow, yesterday, that I've been meaning to bring a "Frosty" to life for a while, but just haven't gotten around to it!
So, I get back from some errands late this afternoon, only to see that my neighbor, Jerry, has a snowman in his front yard!
Well...the gauntlet has been (unknowingly) laid down...the only problem is that I no longer have enough time before I have to get ready for tonight's radio show.
But, I will NOT be deterred!
What can I accomplish in about about 35 minutes? Remember...I'm not a "master snowman-ologist!"
I will keep going, right up til the last minute!
PAST the last...second...I'm...
Done!
But seriously...I've run out of time! And am soon to run out of daylight!
What else can your "snow sculptor" do, but..."fill in?"
OK...so "Frosty" is now a "work in progress."
Meteorologist Dan Zarrow promises a high of around 20 tomorrow...and continued cold for the next few days...so, "Frosty" isn't going anywhere.
I'll have time over the next few days to fatten him up (right now, he's "livin' small and lovin' life" like me). And, don't worry, I'll start a "brain search" (as of now, I think that he's "lost his head").
As for "FedEx Pat's" Snowman and "Snowlady" (I profiled them earlier here on nj1015.com, click here for more)...they are still "a-round" (kind of). I would say that over the last month, they've "lost their heads," and could use a little "fattening up," just like MY snowman.
NO...I'm not done yet...
So...as we say in the radio biz (and when it comes to my snowman efforts):
"Stay Tuned!"
