Two 15-year-old wrestlers for a northern New Jersey high school have been accused of inappropriately touching, in a sexual manner, three 11-year-old boys on the middle school wrestling team.

Police in Glen Rock say the incident occurred when the high school wrestlers wandered into the connecting middle school gym during down time while the teams were practicing last week.

Police say the two high school wrestlers have been charged with juvenile delinquency based on conduct that would constitute aggravated sexual contact and lewdness if prosecuted in adult court.

Police Chief Frederick P. Stahman tells The Associated Press it was a case of the older boys showing "just very poor judgment."

The school district says a full investigation was begun as soon as officials were informed of the incident.
