Can New Jersey handle another casino? Hard Rock International and Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment think it can.

Supporters of the new casino say it could generate over $400,000 that could be used to fund veterans' programs, recoup Atlantic City, create jobs and provide property tax relief for seniors, according to a report by NJ.com.

But others, like some of our callers, say another casino will make things worse for the state by driving tourism away from struggling Atlantic City. Another thought is that casinos already exist in nearby New York City, making one in the Meadowlands unnecessary.
