The Somerset County Prosecutor's office announced the arrest of Michael Maslo, 44, on Friday.

Prosecutor Geoffrey Soriano says detectives observed Maslo leave his home early Wednesday morning, walk to Mountain Park in Bernards Township and tend to marijuana plants.

Detectives seized 25 marijuana plants from the park. Authorities say a search of Maslo's residence turned up another eight plants, along with about 200 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $1,225 in cash.

The estimated value of the marijuana seized is $90,000.

Maslo faces multiple marijuana-related charges. Bail was set at $75,000.

It's unclear if Maslo has retained an attorney.
