Body Found Inside Car In Cranbury

A body was found Saturday in the waters of the Millstone River in Cranbury downstream from where a car was found abandoned.

Sources tell New Jersey 101.5 the car, which according to the Trentonian went off a bridge, may have been there possibly since Wednesday but only discovered yesterday.

The road was closed for several hours on Saturday as the body was pulled out of the water about a mile from where the car was discovered.

Cranbury and East Windsor Police have not identified the body; the incident remains under investigation.
