Beautiful, Tillie, LeeLee, Murphy and Texas Need Forever Homes [NJ Pets of the Week]

NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League, Sammy’s Hope and Just in Time Rescue to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes.

Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Adopt Beautiful

Beautiful was named to describe both her stunning looks and her incredible personality. This domestic shorthair is a sweet girl. She's extremely affectionate and looking to receive some love and snuggles in return. Calm and adoring, Beautiful would love to find a moderate-to-active home where she can play and explore to her heart’s content. This special girl has won over the hearts of all of the volunteers at the shelter.

Adopt Tillie

Tillie is an American Bulldog and American Staffordshire terrier mix. She's a sweet dog who bonds to people quickly.  She seems pretty intense toward other dogs, so she would probably be best as an only dog. Tillie absolutely loves people and is great with everyone she meets. She has been going to regular training classes and is doing really well.

Adopt Texas

Texas was born in a high kill shelter in South Carolina, and was rescued and brought to New Jersey to be fostered until he's ready for adoption. We know his mom is a Golden Retriever, but we don't have information on what his dad was. Texas will be ready for adoption on Nov. 23, and will be fully vetted and vaccinated prior to adoption. He will also be neutered by the rescue when he's old enough.

Adopt Murphy

Murphy is a mild-mannered dreamboat!  We think he is less than a year-old, and a hound and American Staffordshire terrier mix.  He is a mellow fellow with love in his heart for everyone. He came to the shelter as a stray, but was obviously well-cared for since he knows a lot of commands, and has very good leash manners. Murphy has been playful with the other dogs he has met, and happily shares his toys when playing.

Adopt LeeLee

LeeLee is a very sweet, petite cat who always comes running when her name is called.  She is amazing and very good with other cats, and would make an excellent companion. LeeLee’s coat has a beautiful mixture of colors and traits that makes for a very unique coat. Her coloring is hard to describe, and must be seen and felt in person.
