All Eyes on Revel’s Revenue Figures

How did Revel do in its second month in operation?

That's the question on many minds in Atlantic City, as New Jersey casino regulators prepare to release May casino revenue figures.

The $2.4 billion Revel got off to a slow start in April, during what it called a preview period designed more to test equipment and procedures than to rake in money.

It won $13.4 million from gamblers in its first month, ranking it 8th out of Atlantic City's 12 casinos.   The state Division of Gaming Enforcement will release the May figures Monday afternoon.
