Surely you want to read this, but don’t worry, I won’t call you “Shirley.”

"Have you ever seen" a screening of "Airplane!" that was followed by a live Q&A with stars of the movie?

Well, if not, then you need to get to Count Basie Center for the Arts this fall, because they have clearance (Clarence) to show the classic film with a talk afterward with Robert Hays (pilot “Ted Striker”) and Julie Hagerty (flight attendant “Elaine Dickinson”).

Airplane! Live with Julie Hagerty and Robert Hays will make its landing in the Garden State on Friday Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

That would be a good week to stop sniffing glue, because you’ll want to remember the behind-the-scenes anecdotes and memories that the stars of the 1980 classic have to share.

If you’ve never seen the movie (first of all, what are you waiting for? Do you not speak jive?!), it follows a neurotic ex-fighter pilot who has to safely land a commercial airplane full of passengers after the crew becomes sick with food poisoning.

Watch ‘Airplane!’ with the stars of the movie in Red Bank, NJ

There is also a VIP option where you can meet Hagerty and Hays, take a picture with them, and receive an autographed tour poster.

Here’s the vector, Victor: Count Basie Center for the Arts is located at 99 Monmouth St. in Red Bank.
