3 sentenced in Rowan football player’s slaying
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE (AP) — Three men are going to prison for their roles in the slaying of a former Rowan University football player.
A judge sentenced 32-year-old Andre Gross and 30-year-old Norman Gray to 23 years behind bars for aggravated manslaughter and illegally disposing of Khalil Wallace's body.
Twenty-three-year-old Boris Curwen was sentenced to 10 years in prison after cooperating with prosecutors.
Wallace disappeared in September 2011. The 19-year-old's body was found with three gunshot wounds in a lake in Downe Township weeks later.
Wallace had been a Millville High School football star.
