12 reasons why you should be in Key West this week instead of NJ

The main reason you should be in Key West this week is because it's never snowed there. The coolest it's ever been is about 48 degrees, and that is so rare it's not even worth mentioning.

I just returned from my annual 3 day fishing/decompression trip and it's just something everyone should see at least once. It doesn't matter how old or young you are or how many times you've been to Florida, it's different.

It really is and you should really go, especially now that United is offering direct flights from Newark for the first time.

Here are some more reasons why you should visit Key West:
1.) It never snows there!

2.) Clear, beautiful blue water IN THE US!

3.) Street performers at sunset on Mallory Square.

4.) The coolest places to eat and chill, including some of the best seafood joints anywhere (BO's Fish Wagon).

5.) Roosters crowing all day and roaming the streets

7.) The mood is always fun

8.) Nobody cares how inebriated you get

9.) You're in paradise and everybody feels it

10.) You're only 90 miles from Cuba, and now you can go!
