1 of 2 emaciated dogs found in Paterson dies

PATERSON  (AP) — One of two emaciated dogs that were found in Paterson has died.

The tan-and-white pit bull mixes were found on Monday and rescuers named them Bugsy and Bunny.

Bunny was found standing over Bugsy, who was too weak to stand.

NBC 4 New York reports Bugsy died on Tuesday.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest and conviction of the person who abandoned the dogs.
