At least one person was airlifted to a hospital following a crash between a police car and another vehicle in Readington Thursday afternoon.

According to NJ Advance Media, A Readington police officer officer was driving a police vehicle on Route 22 when it collided with a GMC Yukon at about 3:30 p.m., shutting down traffic in the eastbound lanes while police conducted an investigation.

 

One of the occupants of the Yukon was taken by medivac helicopter to a hospital for treatment, the story states.

No information was released regarding the cause of the crash or the condition of those involved in the accident, NJ Advance media reported.
