Now that the B Street Band has turned down playing near the Trump inauguration and more and more artists like Elton John refuse to play the actual event, what's a President-elect to do?

Bill Spadea to the rescue! I think our morning man should offer to tell his muffin joke at the Donald Trump Inauguration. Why should we be the only ones to suffer? Kidding......

Spadea has not only told his signature joke both on his very popular New Jersey 101.5 morning show and on "Chasing News," but at various fundraisers as well. In fact Bill will be telling the joke along with Joe Piscopo, comedians Jay Black, Chip Chantry, myself and Chasing News Jessica Nutt on Feb. 23 at the Comedy Cove and on March 2 at Catch A Rising Star in the Princeton Hyatt Regency as we raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs in New Jersey.

Just think, with all the muffin tops in the audience and dough in the room, the muffin joke could fit right in. Those congressional leaders like New Jersey Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman who are boycotting the event won't know what they are missing. Fortunately, they will have Sen. Cory Booker, who will be there but won't like it to tell them about it.

Perhaps the thought of hearing Bill Spadea telling the muffin joke could change their mind, or perhaps it could give Booker more to dislike.
