There’s no day when it’s easy to get out of bed.

For me, Tuesdays are especially difficult.

My body clock is getting adjusted back to the “overnight routine”, and if I’m lucky, I’m up by 10:30, limiting the amount of time I can devote to my “plan of action”.

But act I do, and I’m in the gym by at least 10:45.

First some light cardio…boxing on the heavy bag, followed by some simple body part exercises.

Then a set of push ups with pike ups (where I bring my midsection into my knees) all done with my feet planted on a dolly.

That ‘s followed by some chest flyes lying on a balance ball, feet together with an inflated cushion between my legs allowing me to brace my abs.

I followed that with some bicep hammer curls on the cable station with a triceps rope; and i follow that with some triceps pulldowns on the same cable station.

Then I finish it off with some simple squats to a lat row; which takes us to around noon.

One hour in the books; and an hour that I spend doing something worthwhile instead of lying in bed.

Leaving satisfied….even if it’s for only an hour.

Make the time...and remember, the journey of a thousand miles starts with one small footstep!
