January 5th 1973 - Bruce Springsteen releases his debut album 'Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.' It was recorded in a single week and would only sell about 25,000 copies in its first year.

Well, it finally happened. The perfect music moment. One of my all-time favorites, Bruce Springsteen performing with another one of my all-time favorites, The Rolling Stones in Newark on Saturday. What could have possibly made it better?

I had looked forward to the 121212 concert since it was announced about a month ago. The lineup got better by the day and the money raised for Sandy victims reached $30 million before the first act even took the stage. This event definitely lived up to the hype.

Today, the Rolling Stones announced on Facebook that Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and the Black Keys will be performing with them this weekend when they play at the Prudential center in Newark.

Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and The Black Keys will join the Rolling Stones on Saturday for the final concert marking the band's 50th anniversary.

As if it wasn't good enough that the Rolling Stones announced they'll be performing at the Prudential Center in Newark this December, the historic rock band has released a brand new song from their upcoming album due out on November 12th.

September 23rd 1968 - The Beatles recorded a new John Lennon song ‘Happiness Is A Warm Gun In Your Hand’ while working on their next album. The title of the song comes from the cover of a gun magazine that their producer, George Martin, had showed to John.

September 16th 1965 - The Rolling Stones help kick off the second season of the music variety show "Shindig!" by singing '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction'. Also performing that night were The Kinks and The Byrds.
