A special education teacher in Burlington County who was charged for allegedly sexually touching seven children has been indicted on those offenses and is now charged with touching seven more.

State Police said Jamie Widrig, 45, was a rear-seat passenger on a Polaris Ranger UTV that hit a tree along Buttersworth Bogs Road and overturned early Sunday morning.

A special education teacher at a small elementary school in Burlington County has been charged for allegedly sexually touching seven students over several years.

Officials said the incidents came to light in September when a Chatsworth Elementary School student came forward about being touched by Vincent Root, 58, of Philadelphia on previous occasions.

Denise Smith, 51, who suffers from dementia, was last seen at her home on Route 563 in the Chatsworth section of Woodland during the overnight hours of Monday around 1:15 a.m.
