September 21st 1974 - Barry White has a  No.1 hit on the singles chart with 'Can't Get Enough Of Your Love Baby', the singers first and only US solo chart topper. It was released as the first single from White's album, 'Can't Get Enough'.

August 24th 1967 - Bruce Springsteen joins a group called Earth at the young age of 17. The band consists of two other Ocean County College students, John Graham on bass and Michael Burke on drums. They would later be joined by a former 'Castile', (Springsteen's previous band), Bob Alfano who would the organ for them...

July 4th 1969 - Grand Funk Railroad play the Atlanta Pop Festival, in Georgia. Reps from Capitol Records like their show and sign the band. Other acts include Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Canned Heat, Joe Cocker, and Chicago.

I remember being on the air the day I heard of the passing of Barry White. The first reaction of many was, "....oh, he was the one that helped us conceive our baby!" Could be that the first time you heard "Love To Love You Baby"...
