Suspects Plead Not Guilty in Killing of Wayne Graduate
One of three men charged in the fatal shooting of a New Jersey student hours after his high school graduation has pleaded not guilty.
Twenty-seven year-old Quashon Faircloth entered the plea Wednesday in a Paterson courtroom.
The Paterson resident is facing murder, robbery and weapons charges in the death of 18-year-old Isaac Rinas of Wayne.
Eighteen-year-old Casey Cole and 24-year-old Bishma Cowan are also charged in Rinas' death.
Cowan and Cole each pleaded not guilty in court appearances Tuesday.
Prosecutors say Faircloth allegedly shot Rinas during an arranged gun sale in Paterson.
Authorities say Cole and Cowan devised a scheme to set Rinas up for a robbery under the guise of having him buy a gun. They have not said how Faircloth allegedly got involved.
