Nothing Beats A Night With the Somerset Patriots!

Somerset Patriots baseball is back! You can hear the roar of the crowd, smell the fresh-cut grass, hear the smack of the balls hitting leather gloves as players get warmed up for the game. Then there's the smell of some of the most delicious ballpark food you can imagine, everything from hot dogs to cheese steaks to Oreo churros ... and of course beers from around the world on tap.

Come out to the ballpark at 860 E. Main St., Bridgewater, and see Manager Emeritus and New York Yankees legend Sparky Lyle, as well as be entertained by everyone's favorite mascot Sparkee. Manager Brett Jodie and his 2019 Somerset Patriots are looking to take home a seventh title, the most of any Atlantic League franchise.

This summer will have some very special guest appearances on the schedule. Sunday, June 9 will feature a 50th Anniversary Celebration of the 1969 World Series Champion New York Mets. Scheduled to appear are Art Shamsky, Ed Kranepool, Cleon Jones, and Ron Swoboda. Meet The Miracle Mets in a two-hour autograph session at the game and go home with a Patriots Jersey T-Shirt.

On Sunday, July 14, the team welcomes WWE Hall of Famer "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. Then on Sunday, Aug. 11, the Somerset Patriots will take a trip to the majors with a 30th Anniversary Celebration of the 1989 sports classic Major League with one of the film's stars Corbin Bernsen ("Roger Dorn"). An appearance by New York Giants Super Bowl Champions Ottis Anderson and Stephen Baker round out the team's celebrity and autograph appearances on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
