According to recent survey, New Jersey is the only state in the country where more people dislike the place than like it. To that I say, "Who cares?" New Jersey doesn’t need to impress you!

I’d love to know where that survey was taken. As Seinfeld would say, "Who are these people?" New Jersey is one of- if not the- coolest place to have on your resume.

Jersey people have both an attitude and swagger, which some find intimidating. To people who cannot handle this, I say "Too bad!"

Take New Jersey’s influence in music as an example of what we have to offer. Sinatra, Jersey Boy Frankie Valli, “The Boss” a.k.a. Bruce Springsteen, and Jon Bon Jovi all ooze Garden State greatness.

Wanna talk TV? Even Batman lived in New Jersey. How about Jersey Shore, or Real Housewives? Both shows got incredible ratings and made a lot of money for their networks. In fact, when Hawaii 5-0 was revived, writers made sure that the Danny Williams character “Book Em Danno” was from New Jersey.

If “America hates New Jersey," then why is Gov. Christie making so much money traveling around the country for his party? Maybe if America had some more New Jersey we wouldn’t be in the mess that we’re in as a country.
