Road Sign: Do U-Turn or No [PHOTO]

I know what this guy is trying to say with the sign(s) at his driveway. But, technically...

Maybe its just me, but I'm a little confused.

If you say "no" to a sign that says "No U-Turn..."

...isn't that counter productive?

In the English language, don't two negatives make a positive?

While emphasizing that no one should use his driveway as a turnaround, isn't he--technically--saying "Go ahead!"

That's why I'm confused...

...and smiling at the same time.

But, that's just me.

What say YOU?
