The family of the 18-year-old whose body was discovered near the train tracks at the Princeton Junction station last week after disappearing will hold a memorial service at the Glackin-Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue in Hightstown from 3p.m. - 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. A funeral will be held in Gladstone, Michigan followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetary in Escambia, Michigan according to his obituary in the Times of Trenton.

Branstrom, self-described as a "FIRST robotics nerd" enjoyed spending summers in Michigan as did many members of his family according to the obituary. He had been attending the University of Rhode Island majoring in marine biology and engineering.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to  Mid-Atlantic Robotics or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
