President Obama heading to New Jersey on Monday
FORT DIX, N.J. (AP) -- President Obama is coming to southern New Jersey next week.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest announced Friday that the president will travel to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on Monday to thank troops and their families for their service and sacrifice.
Earnest said more details would be released in the coming days.
The military base in Burlington County is the nation's only one tri-service joint base. It is home to more than 38,000 active-duty, reserve and guard service members, civilians and family members.
